The August House hits a sweet spot for small to mid-sized weddings of 25-60 people where you can get ready, get married, have a party and go to bed, all in the same place, without having to share that place with anyone else.
As part of our wedding packages, you become our only guests and get exclusive use of the spaces. That creates a special, intimate container where couples, their families and their friends get to truly relax and just be together. We’ve built the house to be informal and easy. Everything is stylish and beautiful, but nothing is overdone or fussy. We think of ourselves as a portal into an invincible summer and that means a delightful combination of warmth, fun, vibrancy and ease.
Not just a boutique hotel, the property is an integrated experience that delivers delight at every point of interaction. Some of the ways guests can expect this to come to life will be:

We’re delighted to host up to 60 people seated, or 80 standing.
Packages starts at $85/pp ($2,500 minimum), but the sky is the limit…oyster and caviar bar, anyone?
Our stunning stained-glass punctuated, timber-framed ceremony space + two, six-person saunas.
Perfect for gathering with family and friends for board games and laughter.
Suitable for small cocktail receptions of 35 or relaxed fireside hangs.
One of the key benefits of our property is the ability to combine beautiful accommodations with on-site event space. We truly see our property as a complete package. Which is why we also rent it in this way; we want our couples and event hosts to make the most of our venue. Here’s how that looks:

Bar Management: All bar services are provided by The August House’s in-house hospitality team. We offer a tiered approach that ranges from a host/cash bar combo to a full premium hosted bar. Please note: Lillian Hall, Myrtle’s Common Lounge and our outdoor spaces are all licensed areas where TAH is required to serve.
On-site support: Our team provides on-site, day-of support, specific to ensuring the venue delivers in exactly the way you imagine. Between us, we’ve planned and managed many events, so we’re happy to support you on the venue side to make the day a success. If you’re looking for more hands-on wedding planning or day-of coordination (i.e. coordinating with vendors or setting up decor), please reach out and let us know. For additional fees, members of our team are able to provide advance planning support, as well as more active day-of coordination.
Rentals: Beautiful wooden cross-back chairs (with cushions), 8 ft. harvest tables, serving ware and glassware. are all included in the package price. Please note: there is a fee should you wish to use tables and chairs other than those provided. We also have a portable speaker and mic available for use.
Parking: There is parking available on the property and in our vacant lot across the street. There’s also street parking available for any overflow requirements.
Event wrap-up: We wrap all events up by midnight so that we can ensure you have lots of time for fun and our neighbours get good nights sleep!
